We have been working to create the Romaji and Pinyin versions of phrases but we need some help with reviewing them. We would be most grateful!

Babelingo 1.2

Babelingo version 1.2 has just gone live on the AppStore. Apple officially published it yesterday, September 1st, but for some unknown reason it did not appear until today. In any case, version 1.2 adds two new languages: Czech and Hindi. Each with all professionally translated phrases.

One neat feature for Hindi speakers is the ability to search for Hindi phrases by using the English keyboard to enter in Romanized Hindi representing the phonetic spellings of various Hindi  words.

Babelingo 1.1 released

Babelingo version 1.1 has been made available through the iTunes AppStore. This version includes Italian which has been a highly requested language. In addition, all phrases in all languages have been translated by  native language speakers who are also professional translators. We are very excited about the quality of the translations in this release and couldn’t be more pleased with them.  Additionally, other quality improvements in the 1.1 version have been made in the area of performance and usability. All in all these items make the 1.1 version of Babelingo nothing short of incredible.

While 1.1 was just released we are hard at work producing the next outstanding release of Babelingo. We have requests for many additional languages including Brazilian Portuguese and Arabic. Languages such as these are added to Babelingo based on user feedback. So while, we may be currently considering these languages for a future release please don’t hesitate to email our support in order to express your desire for these or other languages (each and every request increases the priority of that language).

Release Summary:

  • Italian
  • Professionally translated phrases in all languages
  • Performance and Usability improvements

Babelingo 1.1 in progress

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Babelingo 1.1 is in progress. This will be a free update to those who have already purchased Babelingo. Highlights of the 1.1 release are inclusion of Italian and various bug fixes. In addition, all translated phrases will now be certified as accurate by a professional translation service (for each and every language). The 1.1 update should be finished and be uploaded to the AppStore by the middle of next week (around July 23rd). Apple then needs to verify the update prior to it showing up on the AppStore. It is unknown how long that process will take but it shouldn’t be more than a few days.
